Validating Your Agile Learning

With 12-15 million claiming to be using Scrum on a daily basis, and many of them badly, there is an increasing demand in industry for validated learning and experience in Agile.

This is where certification comes in – but there are so many certification mills these days. Where do you start?

We recommend the offerings of two certification bodies: Scrum Alliance for Scrum-specific validated learning and the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) for role-based , method-neutral learning pathways. Both organizations have credibility in the marketplace due to the rigour of their authentication processes.

Alan O’Callaghan, Principal Product Owner at Emerald Hill is one of fewer than 250 Certified Scrum Trainers (CST) worldwide and is also an ICAgile authorised instructor. He has both designed and delivers Scrum Alliance and ICAgile courses for our partner, Learning Tree International.
